Lady Mavs improve to 2-0 in district

The Eastland Lady Mavericks kept their district record unblemished last week by powering their way to back-to-back wins over Early and Peaster.

The Eastland Lady Mavericks kept their district record unblemished last week by powering their way to back-to-back wins over Early and Peaster.

Now 7-3 overall, Eastland opened the week with an impressive 7338 rout of Early in their district opener. They followed that with a 6030 romp over Peaster on Friday.

The Lady Mavs, who were slated to play Millsap on Dec. 19, will make their next outing on Jan. 2 against Breckenridge.
