As we all experienced the winter storm throughout Texas this week, I hope everyone was able to stay safe and warm. While many events were rescheduled at the Capitol, my staff and I were able to attend the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) Midwinter Conference on Monday and Tuesday in Austin. Additionally, we used this time to continue to organize our 88th Legislative Bill Package. Read more about some of the important items we are working on for House District 68 and the State of Texas.
This week we will discuss the importance of border security, House Bill 65, what’s on the horizon for February at the Capitol, and a how a bill becomes law in Texas.
