The Cisco boys’ and girls’ basketball teams barely had to break a sweat this past week to pick up key district wins. Both squads used s stingy defensive effort to roll to lopsided wins over the Hamin Pied Pipers on Friday.
The Lady Loboes, now 21-5 overall, ran their district record to a perfect 6-0 mark by throttling the Lady Pipers by a 74-14 clip. The CHS press defense forced Hamlin into more than 20 turnovers – most of which were converted into east buckets.
Hamlin did not score more than five points in any quarter against the CHS girls.
