The Eastland Mavericks got double-digit performances from four starters last Friday and rolled to an important 58-36 rout of the Dublin Lions on the road.
With the win, Eastland improved to 11-9 for the season and, more importantly, solidified its hold on second in the District 8-3A standings.
The Mavericks are now 4-1 in district play, one game behind Brock.
