Mavs drop decisions to Early, Peaster

The recent Arctic cold front did more than chill the Big Country, it also cooled off the Eastland Mavericks.

Eastland dropped a pair of tough outings to Early and Peaster last week in District 8-3A action.

The losses, dropped the Mavericks to 11-11 for the season and, more importantly, left the team at 4-3 in district play heading into the final weeks of the regular season.
