She was born on August 18, 1945 in Gorman, TX to Orville Earnest Blackwell and Marie Charlene (Neger) Blackwell.
Mary was one-of-a-kind. She was charming, beautiful, could light up any room and lived her life to the fullest. She was independent, head-strong, knew what she wanted and could accomplish anything she set out to accomplish. Mary enjoyed traveling, visiting the coast, water skiing and snow-skiing, made the BEST apple pie, loved baking, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her “Doodlebug” Adalynn and family.
