Aurelia (Marti) Zamora Martinez Riojas was born in Malakoff, TX on November 12, 1935. She married Carlos Martinez Sr. in 1951. Carlos went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 17, 2005. Aurelia later married Frank Riojas in 1992.
Aurelia gained her wings on Sunday, January 7, 2024. She was reunited in Heaven with her parents; her husband’s Carlos Sr. and Frank; two brothers: Larry and Barney and granddaughter: Ashley Nicole Coffin.
Aurelia is survived by two sisters: Lola and Irene; two brothers: Salvadore and Pedro; nine children: Carlos Martinez Jr. (Cheryl) of Lufkin, TX, Ricardo Martinez (Michelle) of Rio Vista, TX, Ramon Martinez (Melanie) of Cleburne, TX, Robert Martinez (Carol) of DeRidder, LA, Jessi Nava of Manhatten, NY, Becky Lopez (Gilbert) of Eastland, TX, Ruben Martinez (Christie) of Rio Vista, TX, Rodger Martinez of Rio Vista, TX and Diana Martinez (Phillip) of Granbury, TX; twenty-three grandchildren: Chad, Cherish, Kimberly, Cody, Nesha, Brandon, Josh, Juan, Chon, Monaleto, Kelly, Courtney, Tracy, Aaron, Andrew, Pricilla, Cruz, Sergio, Justinian, Monique, Sterling, Keifer and Zach; 44 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
