Amy O’Brien County’s five papers Glenn, President of the Eastland Civic League & Garden Club, gave the club’s January program. Theme of the program was “History of Eastland County’s Newspapers and how they tie back to YOU.”
Eastland County Today’s co-publisher Amy O’Brien Glenn, publisher H. V. O ’ B rien, began his newspaper career at the Cisco Press. He came to the Eastland Telegram in 1960 and later acquired the Eastland Telegram, Cisco Press and Ranger Times, which were printed twice a week at that time. Further Rising Star, Baird Star and lastly the Gorman Progress.
