By Tommy Wells The Eastland High School Lady Mavericks knew heading into last week’s action that they faced a rough road with back-to-back games against state-ranked Comanche and Brock.
And it was tough. The Lady Mavericks District 8-3A standings a 46-34 decision to Brock. The loss was the second straight for Eastland and left them Brock moved to and cinched the district crown.
Offensively, the Lady Mavericks started the showdown with Brock with a bang.
