Mya Wesley scored 19 points and Ana Cunningham added 16 more on Tuesday and powered the Eastland Lady Mavericks to a 59-52 victory over the defending Class 3A state champion Holliday Lady Eagles in a bi-district round playoff game played in Graham.
Cunningham helped Eastland pull away in the fourth quarter by sinking four three-pointers. Backed by the long-range bombs, Eastland outscored Holliday by a 23-17 margin in the final eight minutes.
