The Gorman Lady Panthers historic 202324 basketball season came to an end this past week with a nail-biting 42-38 loss to Dodd City in the Class A regional semifinals.
With the loss, 11thranked Gorman closed out the year with a 34-4 record.
The Lady Panthers, backed by a stellar effort from Hadli Hampton, more than held their own against Dodd City early on. Keyed by a swarming defense, Gorman pounded out 10 points in the first quarter and carried a slim 1-point lead into the second.
