Rhonda Bryant’s Passion for Teaching Leads to New Cisco College Barber School

The new Barber School at Cisco College is a direct result of Rhonda Bryant’s passion for barbering.

Rhonda has been a barber for 32 years, with 20 years of owning her own shop in Corsicana. She was preparing to open her own barber school in Corsicana when her husband, Cliff Bryant, was offered a job that brought them to Cisco in 2021.

She temporarily gave up her dream and enrolled in Cisco College’s Cosmetology Department that summer to “cross over” and obtain a cosmetology license. Successful, she was soon offered a job as an assistant, and not long afterward she became Director of Cosmetology at the college.
