Upcoming Extension Programs Our next program will be covering vegetable garden basics on April 26 at 1:00 pm at Izzi’s Garden near Lake Leon. This will be a tour of their raised beds, greenhouses, and irrigation systems with some very good information from our Master Gardeners in the county and promises to be both a lot of fun and a chance to learn from their experiences. Again, the cost will be $10 per person.
Finally, on April 30 we will be having the annual Cross Timbers Land Management Symposium in Stephenville at the Research Center from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Attendees will receive 1 IPM and 1 L&R CEU for Private or Commercial Applicators. The cost is $20 and will include lunch. Topics this year are weed and brush management, Kaput hog bait, and livestock market projections for this year.
