Hi! We are Shelly and Rickey Roberts. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves as the proud, new owners of Rising Star’s famous Star Grocery- located in the heart of downtown Rising Star.
Star Grocery has been a staple part of Rising Star, Tx for 30+ years when it was opened by Kay and Don Fraley. Kay and Don are known and loved for their passion to serve the community in Rising Star and the surrounding areas.
.DDGRGHFLGHGWRDOO retire and get some rest, but they were sad about having to close the grocery store. That’s where we come in! We are so excited to be able to keep this trademark grocery alive! But who are we you ask? Well, let me tell you a little about us: Rickey and I grew up in the Arlington, Tx area where we met at age 18 and 19. We have owned and operated a construction company for over 20 years. We have three, grown children.
