Jerry Brown celebrated her 85th Birthday at the Church of Christ in Gorman on Saturday, July 1st. A nice gathering of family and friends came to join her in the celebration. The reception room was nicely decorated. Cake and refreshments were served.
Jerry Brown was Married to “Corkey” Brown for 52 years as they made their home in Gorman. They had two Daughters - Vicki Brown of Gorman and Julie Clark, with son in law Darren Clark. sons and 1 Granddaughter, and 15 Great Grand children.
Jerry taught Kindergarten for 29 years at Gorman ISD. She would often have to teach 4th Grade science and 5th social studies as well.
