GORMAN- The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) planed to begin work this week to upgrade drainage structures on FM 679 (Crescent Street) as part of the SH 6 Reconstruction project.
As work progresses, various lane closures will occur. Information on construction and DQWLFLSDWHGWUDIFLPSDFWV will be shared as work is scheduled. All drainage work in this area is expected to be complete in spring 2025.
Beginning approx. 7 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, a portion of FM 679 was to be closed to through WUDIF DW WKH LQWHUVHFWLRQ of FM 8. Access will be maintained for residents and their visitors. This closure will be in place for approximately one week, weather and work progress permitting.
