RANGER- Martha Marie Slatton, 77, entered her eternal home on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Ranger Care Center surrounded by her family.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 11:00 am at Cross Point Community Church in Ranger with Buster Robinson officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Ranger.
Martha was born on January 27, 1947 in Kermit, Texas to Clarence Edward and Martha Lee (Anderson) Slatton. Martha worked at Vassarett in Eastland and Russell Newman in Cisco for many years. At the encouragement of her mother, she then went to nursing school and became a Registered Nurse practicing for over 20 years. She loved caring for her patients in the nursing home, home health and hospice. Martha was a believer in Christ and her faith was near and dear to her. She is now rejoicing in Heaven.
