Bettye Jean Forrest Logan

Bettye married Harlis Weldon Logan on March 21, 1953, in Gorman, Texas, and they enjoyed a loving marriage of seventy-one years. To this union three boys were born, Jeffrey Lynn, Mitchell Thomas, and Stephen Wayne.

Bettye was active in Cub Scouts and Little League. She retired as a Registered Nurse and always felt blessed to

serve in the nursing field.

Bettye was a member of Desdemona Church of Christ, and she loved her church family dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Harlis; son, Mitch Logan (Leann); granddaughters, Jesica Miller (James) and Kori Grooms (Jonathan); grandson, Tom Logan; great-grandsons, Brett and Hunter; sisters, Brenda Sears and Wanda Crenshaw; special nieces and nephews whom she called her adopted kids.

Bettye was preceded in death by her sons, Jeff Logan and Steve Logan; grandson, Sam; parents, Thomas and Eunice Forrest; sisters, Thelma Brown, Avis Painter, Zelma Sharp, Tommie Guthery, and Lavelle Hallmark.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Minister Ken

Frazier officiating. Bet

tye was interred in Victor Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Roger Brown, Jerry Brown, Daniel Dunston, Larry Grady, Grant Lewis, and Julian Monaco.
