Jesus Abraham-Almendariz, Paxton Brown and Leonel Melendez all legged out top 10 finishes at the Burleson Elk Run XXIV’s junior varsity race last week at Chisenhall Park.
Abraham-Almendariz sprinted his way to second in the overall standings with a time of 19 minutes. Fort Worth Wyatt’s Moise Munezero won the JV boys’ race with a time of 18 minutes, 43 seconds.
Brown and Melendez were seventh and 10th, respectively.
