Lamb, Hornets rush past Bulldogs in opener

The Ranger High School Bulldogs’ debut as an official UIL-sanctioned sixman football program didn’t go as planned on Friday night in front of a small crowd at O.C. Warden Stadium.

Walnut Springs scored several times in the third quarter and rolled to a stunning 72-27 victory.

Walnut Springs running back Jesse Lamb powered the Hornets’ to their season-opening win.
