The Ranger Bulldogs turned the ball over four times in Friday, including twice in the early minutes of the first quarter, and dropped a tough 68-8 decision to the Woodson Cowboys.
With the loss, Ranger dropped to 0-2 heading into this week’s Homecoming showdown with Santa Anna on Friday. Woodson improved to 2-0. Aided by the turnovers, Woodson bolted to a 38-0 Ranger running back Jordan Rodriguez got the Bulldogs on the board in the second quarter. He scored on a 35-yard scamper midway through the frame.
Ranger will host Santa Anna this Friday at O.C. Warden Stadium.
