By Linda Spetter After only one month since classes began, students in Cisco College’s Art Department are already participating in two major events.
One is submitting more than 40 entries in Old Rip’s Art Competition, part of the Ripfest festival to be held Saturday, Oct. 5, in downtown Eastland. The art contest is sponsored by the Lyric Art Center, located at 107 S. Lamar.
The other is being the first to restore a painting in the Outdoor Art Lyric; this painting will be on display at the art center during Ripfest.
