The Eastland High School boys' and girls' cross country teams swept the top spots at the 2024 Dublin Dash Invitational last week. The EHS boys edged out Breckenridge for the team crown, while the Lady Mavs held off Comanche.
Andrew Hicks and Sam - my Herrera dominated the boys' 5,000-meter race, sweeping the top two spots in the individual standings.
Hicks claimed the gold medal with a winning run of 15 minutes, 16.95 sec - onds. Herrera was second at 15:40.18.
