Peyton Brown rushed for 128 yards and four touchdowns on Friday and helped the Tolar Rattlers spoil the Eastland Mavericks’ Senior Night activities.
Brown’s efforts helped Tolar roll to a 35-7 victory in front of a large crowd at Maverick Stadium.
With the win, Tolar nailed down the District 5-3A championship and improved to 9-1 heading into the postseason. Eastland’s season came to an end with a 4-6 mark.
