Pecans were showcased in the entries this year in numerous pies, cookies, candies, and in sweet & savory nut recipes. The Eastland County TEEA club members volunteered and ran the pie contest and sold donated goodies at the courthouse. Young & old competed in this historic tradition of showcasing locally grown pecans.
