Patsy Virginia McGough, 89, of Cisco left her earthly body Thursday, December 26, 2024, in Rising Star, with her children by her side. She was born March 16, 1935 in Brownwood to Garland Guy and Irma (Crawford) Gage.
She attended 1st grade at Mountain Top School south of Cisco where she was the only first grader. She attended school in Cisco, Breckenridge, and Rising Star,7 before graduating from Cisco High School in 1953.
Patsy married the love of her life, William Edward McGough, on October 29, 1953 in Eastland. They moved to Dallas in 1954, then returned to Eastland County in 1974. Together they raised two children, Beverly and Mike. He loved and cared for her for over 59 years until his passing in March 2013. She was never the same without him.
