By Tommy Wells The Eastland Mavericks snapped a 15-game losing streak on the hardwood on Saturday with a 44-33 win over the Stanton %XIIDORHVLQWHQDOHRI the 2024 Eula Holiday Classic tournament in Clyde.
The 11-point decision DQGHGDVWODQGLWVUVW win on the hardwood since February 6 of last year when they downed Dublin 75-62 in a key district game. The Maverick’s last nondistrict victory came in a 46-40 decision over Roscoe last December 30.
Eastland, which opened this season with 13 straight losses, broke into the win column IRU WH UVW WLPH RQ Saturday by running down Stanton in the Eula tournament.
