City holds first 2025 meeting

Gorman City Commission held their Thursday, Jan. 2 in the Community Center. All commissioners, Mayor Perry and City Secretary Tacy Warren were present for the meeting.

Commissioners approved the minutes of two city meetings held in December (one regular, one called). City bills were additionally approved.

In citizen’s forum, Mary reported that the Food Bank served 330 recipients (in December). She noted that the food bank was having some problems in obtaining meat from the Abilene Food Bank, but expressed hope that the situation would soon improve.
