By Tommy Wells The Ranger Junior High School boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will have plenty of opportunity to shine this weekend. The RJHS boys and girls will be competing in the Garber Junior High School Basketball Tournament.
The 12-team tournament will be played Thursday and Saturday in Garner.
The Lady Bulldogs will tip off action in the girls’ bracket starting at 4:30 p.m. when they face off with round. The winner will advance to face Texas Christian on Saturday at 9 a.m. round matchup will feature Strawn playing Garner at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The winner of that game will play Baird at 11 a.m. on The girls’ championship game will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
