The annual TET Reunion will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Taylor County Fairgrounds Display Building in Abilene.
Named for the Vietnamese lunar new year, the “TET” Offensive took many by surprise. The year began with a traditional holiday “truce” but that ended on January 31st 1968, when the North Vietnamese Army and Viet Long launched coordinated attacks on more than 100 cities and towns across South Vietnam.
It was a military victory for the United States but it was a propaganda victory for the North Vietnamese.
