:LWKWKHZLQ*RPDQDQLWVVHDVRQHRGWR and, even more importantly, they all but clinched the District 22-A crown. The Lady Panthers hold a 2-game lead over Huckabay and Walnut Springs in the district standings with four regular season games left on their schedule.

Huckabay, which entered the game ranked in the Top 20 in the latest TABC poll, stayed close early. The Lady ,QGLDQVVRHGSRLQWVLQWKHVWTXDWHDQGWDLOHG by just one at the start of the second.
