William Glynn Powell, 79, of Groesbeck and formerly of Eastland, passed away on January 26, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him.
A celebration of life was held at 11:00 AM, February 3, 2025, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, Waco, Texas 76706 with Pastor Darrel Phillips officiating.
William “Bill” Powell was born on April 23rd, 1945, to Wanda Faye and William N Powell Jr. He graduated from Lorena High School in 1965. After high school, he joined the United States Airforce and served proudly while being stationed in Japan.
