GORMAN – Starting today, Friday, Feb. 7, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will be constructing temporary pavement on the north side of SH 6 (Lubbock Street). All traffic will shift to the north side of SH 6 once the temporary pavement is completed from Cresent Street to Townsend Street to continue drainage, utilities and road work. Crews expect this configuration to be in place through early 2026. See diagram above.
