Anyone who saw the Wrangler Belles’ Spring Show at Cisco College last April knows what a good choreographer Cassandra Blanton is.
Blanton, once a Wrangler Belle herself, was hired as Assistant Director of the Belles in August 2023, even before her graduation from Hardin-Simmons University. The early hire meant she drove from Cisco to Abilene every morning for HSU classes, then drove back to the Cisco campus to teach dance full time, every day for six months.
She received a Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences (BSHS) degree, with majors in kinesiology and communication, in December 2023. She then was able to focus fully on the Wrangler Belles position, for which she does all the choreography. She reports to Jenna Wood, who is Director of the Belles as well as the Cheer program.
