On February 28th, 2023, at approximately 1:30am, Eastland County Sheriff Deputy Colby Jackson made a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle at IH20 Eastbound at the 339mile marker. The female driver was identified as Shauna Madrid W/F DOB 4-29-1986 from Roswell, New Mexico.
During the stop, a search of the vehicle was conducted. During the search he located a hidden compartment in the floorboard of the vehicle. Inside the compartment was over 10 pounds of Methamphetamine and over 5 pounds of Fentanyl. The estimated street value is $577,000.
Madrid was transported to the Eastland County Jail and booked in for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
