County Vehicle Crash kills Ft. Worth Man

A crash involving 2 vehicles in Eastland County Thursday, Feb. 13th killed Keith William Roggasch, 34 years of age, of Ft. Worth, Tx, according to a DPS report. The crash occurred at 3:22 A.M. on Interstate 20 (IH-20), 3 miles west of Cisco. Weather conditions were reported clear and road conditions dry. The deceased, driver of a 2019 Chevrolet Express passenger van, died at the scene of the crash, pronounced by Justice of the Peace, Jesse Speer. He was not wearing a seatbelt. Driver of vehicle 2, 2017 Freightliner truck tractor towing a 2006 Utility box semi-trailer, David Pelegrin Torres, 35 years of age male from Odessa, Texas, was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt.

Description: The pre( vealed that Vehicle 1 was traveling east on IH-20 near the 327-milepost in the outside lane. Vehicle 2 was in front of Vehicle 1 in the same lane. The driver of Vehicle 1 failed to control the vehicle’s speed, striking Vehicle 2 at the back left corner of the trailer with the front right corner of Vehicle 1. Vehicle 1
