By Tommy Wells The Eastland Lady Mavericks district championship hopes took a serious hit on March 31 when they dropped a tough 15-4 decision to the Peaster Lady Greyhounds.
With the loss, Eastland dropped to 5-2 in District 8-3A action – two games behind Peaster.
Overall, Eastland slipped to 12-7. Peaster got off to a fast start, scoring two runs 6-0 lead.
