Scientific data shows that a female is born with X chromosomes which is established in the womb, and a male with an XY chromosome. When a man wants to be called a woman, or a woman wants to be called a man, does their request make it so?
We have no control over our sexual orientation although mutilating surgical e fforts are made attempting to change one’s identity.
Question: What if a woman who has pretended to be a male for several years is in a life threatening accident in need of immediate medical care? Could the doctor be held guilty of malpractice if treating the patient as male, or be held guilty of malpractice for treating the patient as female? Maybe the best medical care would be to treat the patient based on what they are at birth.
