I’ll forever be thankful for Eastland Memorial Hospital, which played a major role in providing lifesaving care for my wife. On August 8, 2024, my wife went into cardiac arrest. Had it not been
for our first responders and our local hospi - tal, she likely wouldn't have survived. It was the doctor and nurses at EMH who did every thing in their power to give her a chance at life and made it possible for her to be transferred to a major hospital in the DFW metroplex.
In that moment, having a strong, local hospital wasn’t just a convenience - it was everything for my family.
