On Saturday, May 3, 2025, voters in Eastland County cast their ballots on the proposed expansion of the Eastland Memorial Hospital District. Although the outcome was not in favor of the proposal, Eastland Memorial Hospital remains deeply grateful to the community for participating in the process and sharing their voice.
The expansion proposal was designed to support the long-term sustainability of local healthcare by extending district boundaries. With the results now in, Eastland Memorial Hospital will use this opportunity to listen, learn, and plan for the future.
