Billy Williamson, 72 of Eastland, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 14th at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene with Jim Wright officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.
Billy Law Williamson was born October 9, 1952 in Ranger, Texas to Joe Kelley Williamson and Hattie Lou Smith Williamson. He served in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged in 1974. While Billy was in the Army, he was stationed in numerous bases in Colorado, Alaska and Arizona as a barber. Billy had a passion for barbering and worked as one for as long as his health would allow him. He was an avid sports fan and loved his Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Hattie Williamson.
Billy is survived by his son, Brian Williamson and wife Donna Williamson of Cisco; his brothers, Joe Williamson and Russell Williamson; one granddaughter, Jaedyn Williamson; one nephew and one niece.
