Russell Williamson, 70 of Eastland, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 14th at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene with Jim Wright officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.
Russell Allen Williamson was born December 26, 1954 in Brawley, California to Joe Kelley Williamson and Hattie Lou Smith Williamson. Russell served in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged in 1976. Russell was a barber by trade and enjoyed all sports. He umpired baseball, softball and basketball. He loved his family and dedicated the last eight years to helping take care of his brother, Billy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Hattie Williamson; and one brother, Billy Williamson.
Russell is survived by his brother, Joe Williamson; two nephews and one niece.
