The Eastland County AgriLife Extension office will be hosting a free Wildfire Mitigation & Prevention Program in conjunction with Texas A&M Disaster Assessment & Recovery, Texas A&M Forest Service, and Texas Parks & Wildlife from 12:00-2:00 pm May 22, 2025, in the Lumberyard at 313 W. Main in Eastland. Lunch will be catered by Billy’s BBQ and drinks furnished by Chicken Express. This program will help us prepare our properties and homes in the event of wildfire and best practices for reporting losses should they occur. If you would like to attend this free public program and free lunch, give us a call at 254-629-2222 to help us in the meal preparation.
