It is time for summer fun at the library. This year’s theme is Color Our World. This year’s events will be held on Thursdays in June beginning at 2:00 pm.
Thursday, June 2nd, 2:00 pm - The Creature Teacher - this program will be at the Lyric Theater. The Creature teacher shows exotic animals. At the end the audience gets to pet some of the animals Thursday, June 12th, 2:00 pm - Dinosaur Valley this program will be at the Lumber Yard Event Center in the pavilion area. Park Rangers from Dinosaur Valley will share information about dinosaur fossils found in the Glen Rose area. At the end, there will be a dinosaur bone dig.
Thursday, June 19th, 2:00 pm - African Storyteller - this event will be at the library. Elizabeth Kahura will share stories, songs, and culture from her life growing up in Africa. This will be her third year. She is very entertaining.
