Bobby Jo Wilhelm, Ranger ISD Superintendent, recently gave Ranger Lions an update on changes and challenges RISD - and other schools - are facing. There is uncertainty in how the School Voucher bill will effect public schools, she added. However, Superintendent Wilhelm emphasized that RISD is moving forward and setting goals to offer the best for its students. Goals mentioned were to blend more together with Ranger College and look at the workforce students will be JRLJLWRDIWHUKLJKVFKRRODPRJRWKHUGLUHFWLRVWRRIIHUSURJUDPVEHHFLDO to student’s future. She mentioned that 16 RISD students were recently selected to take part in a laboratory at Hardin Simmons University. Ranger Lions appreciated the update from Superintendent Wilhelm.
