The STAR PRIDE group of Rising Star was successful in raising between $300 - $400 on a beautiful Saturday morning, June 7, 2025 for donations to the July 4 fund.
Perfect weather greeted the approximately ten members who presented various cakes, pies and other homemade baked items for sale to the public.
In less than two hours, most of the home baked items were sold; and Star Pride had money to donate to the fireworks fund.
