A longtime resident of the community, Billings was sworn in as a new member of the Ranger City Council on Monday, June 9, during a regular meeting at city hall. Billings appointment brings the Ranger City Council back to full strength.
Billings was appointed to the Place 3 seat on the council which became available when Robert Butler assumed the role of mayor last month when Charlie Archer stepped down to assume the role as city manager.
