Harlis Weldon Logan was born in Eastland County, Texas on January 13, 1933, to Willie Alexander Logan and Wilma Harris Logan. He married Bettye Forrest Logan on March 21, 1953, in Gorman, Texas. Harlis served in the United States Army and was veteran of the Korean War. He retired from El Paso Natural Gas Company as Superintendent of the South Plains Pipeline District. He was a member of the Desdemona Church of Christ.
He is survived by his son, Mitch Logan and wife, Leann; granddaughters, Jesica Miller and husband, James, Kori Grooms and husband, Jonathon; grandson, Tom Logan; great-grandsons, Brett Miller and Hunter Miller; and other extended family. Harlis has been reunited with his loving wife, Bettye; sons, Jeff Logan and Steve Logan; grandson, Sam Logan; parents, Willie and Wilma Logan; and sister, Dorinda Munsell.
Graveside funeral services celebrating Harlis' life will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Victor Cemetery with Craig Rhoton officiating.
