Roma “Kay” Cozart, born July 9, 1941, in Gorman, Texas, to Leonard Plowman and Idris Margaret Livingston-Plowman.
She passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, in Ranger, Texas, surrounded by the love of family and friends. On January 1, 1961, Kay married her best friend and lifelong partner of 64 years, Royce G. Cozart, at the Bethel Baptist Church in Eastland, Texas. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and shared joys.
Kay is survived by her devoted husband, Royce Cozart; her daughters Donna Whitlock and Jan Brown, along with Jan’s husband, Gary Brown. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren:
