Citizens of CISCO After months of attending and speaking at the city council meetings. I want to let you know that on Monday June 9th at the city council meeting it was decided that you will get the chance to vote in NOVEMBER to Dissolve the CDC (Cisco development corporation’s) and return your sales tax revenue back to the city to be used to repair your infrastructure. Street’s, water mains and sewer pipes etc. this is your opportunity after decades to choose to get your tax money back. This is a good thing for our city and will help start the process of getting our infrastructure back on track. But to make this happen you will have to get out and vote in November.
This is the only chance you’re going to have so get ready to go vote in November. They had the Attorney for Cisco come speak on this matter and he suggested that we dissolve the CDC and let the city take back the sales tax revenue and use it to budget for the city’s future.
